NAAAP Mentoring Program

 COHORT 2023

 June 1st through August 13th, 2023 (10 Weeks) 

Become a part of the NAAAP-Chicago Mentoring Program to boost your personal and professional growth. As a mentor or mentee, you will be part of a carefully chosen group and have access to great programming, learning opportunities, and networking events. The program aims to create a mutually beneficial relationship between mentors and mentees where both can enhance their job performance, managerial skills, and leadership capacity. Join us to participate in virtual and in-person events, learn from each other, and build a network of trusted peers.

CALLING FOR MENTORS

Are you an experienced professional with five or more years of work under your belt? Do you find joy in helping others learn and grow? If so, we invite you to become a mentor and use your personal and professional experiences to make a positive impact on the Asian-American professional community. As a mentor, you will receive a Mentor Toolkit and ongoing support throughout the program. You'll also get the chance to improve your coaching skills for leaders, identify and leverage your strengths to boost your own professional development, connect with other Asian-American professionals, and receive valuable feedback from your mentee. Are you looking to advance your career? Join our mentoring program and get matched with a mentor who can provide you with valuable insights into your industry and institutions. Your mentor will be selected based on your specific needs for professional development. You'll also have the opportunity to connect with other Asian-American professionals in a more intimate setting, receive support, and learn from their experiences. 1. Virtual Kick-Off Meeting : 6.1.2023 @ 7 PM CST
2. Meet-and-Greet for Mentors and Mentees (In-Person Event in Downtown Chicago) : 6.25.2023 @ 12 PM CST
3. Group Coaching Session (Virtual): 7.20.2023 @ 7 PM CST
4. Three personalized mentor-mentee meetings: 6.19.2023 through 8.13.2023
5. Appreciation Party (In-Person Event in downtown Chicago)

REGISTRATION

Registration closes May 30th, 2023.

• Mentee participation fee:
  • $20 for NAAAP-Chicago Member
  • $45 for non-member
• FREE for new/renew members who sign-up within March 1st through June 30th, 2023.  (Email mentoring@naaapchicago.org your receipt to obtain your promo code).

Consider purchasing/renewing a membership for $50 (Discounted at $35 for Non-profit/Government & $25 for Students) to take advantage of a full year of this Mentoring Program, as well as many other programs and events offered by NAAAP-Chicago.
