NAAAP NY (National Association of Asian American Professionals, New York Chapter), in partnership with Sky Well, the ERG of Turner Construction Company, is honored to present our annual Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month event, Soul of Heritage: Celebrating Values, Tradition, & Community, on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 6:00 PM– 9:00 PM EST at Korean Cultural Center.
This distinguished event commemorates AAPI Heritage Month by bringing together Asian professional networks across New York City to celebrate cultural heritage, leadership, and community. By uniting corporate and nonprofit organizations, as well as businesses, it fosters meaningful connections, promotes professional growth, and underscores the collective strength of our shared traditions & communities.

Keynote Speaker: Jay Kuo
CEO and founder at The Social Edge Broadway playwright, composer, and two-time Tony-winning Producer
Jay Kuo is the CEO and founder of The Social Edge, the digital media company behind “Team Takei,” which grew George Takei’s social presence to over 25 million followers.
A two-time Tony-winning co-producer (Hadestown, The Inheritance), he also composed Allegiance and co-created Indigo, the first musical to feature a non-speaking, autistic lead. Jay writes The Status Kuo on Substack, drawing over 3 million monthly reads, and serves on the national board of the Human Rights Campaign, where he co-chairs the Public Policy Committee. He is also a published author, entrepreneur, and appellate litigator admitted before the Ninth Circuit and U.S. Supreme Court.
