NAAAP-Chicago Wellness Workshop: Bollywood Dance

Get your body moving and immerse yourself in Bollywood music! NAAAP has collaborated with NAACH Chicago to bring you a 90-minute dance workshop where you’ll learn more about the benefits of dance for your well-being and walk through some beginner-friendly choreography. No prior experience is required.

Registration is $12 for members and $20 for non-members. The maximum capacity for this event is 15. Registration must be canceled at least 24 hours before the event starts to be eligible for a refund. If you’re interested in becoming a NAAAP member, click here.

About the Instructor
Founder and lead choreographer Priyank Thakker trained at Shiamak Davar and Raëll Padamsee Academy for Creative Expression (ACE) in Bollywood dancing and gave many stage performances as a child artist. Learn more on the NAACH website.

Each month NAAAP Chicago's Wellness program hosts a free session of self-care called Wellness Wednesday!

Wellness impacts so many facets of our professional and personal life. Small things can make a big difference, from music to taking a walk. So we've planned an interactive activity each month to help prepare for and deal with growing stressors! Lets share ways we can foster our own wellness and the wellness of our workplaces, community, etc!

Culturally sensitive sessions will be facilitated by our founding leader of NAAAP-Chicago Wellness - Dr. Elizabeth 방실 Smith (PsyD).
