In an ongoing series of workshops, NAAAP Chicago has partnered with Project Vision to provide career prep and guidance to a cohort of high school juniors and seniors.

The first workshop will focus on resumes—a key step in helping students prepare for their future careers. We’ll kick things off with a half-hour briefing on what makes a strong resume and what it should include. Then, volunteers will break into small groups with students to walk them through a hands-on worksheet that helps them start putting their resumes together.

A few weeks later, we’ll reconvene for a second workshop to review and refine students’ final drafts. You don’t need to sign up for both workshops—volunteers are welcome to join for either session (or both!).
